080A15 / EN32B is a popular low carbon mild steel that is supplied in the bright drawn or turned bar condition. It is used as a GENERAL COMMERCIAL QUALITY (GCQ) steel with reasonable machinability, but poor hardenability. 080A15 / EN32B has good weldability characteristics and is often used in case hardening applications to improve wear resistance.
