316S11 / 1.4404 is an austenitic stainless steel, but with the addition of molybdenum, which improves corrosion resistance and has particularly high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments and due to its austenitic structure, exhibits excellent toughness. 316S11 / 1.4404 is frequently used for food processing & brewery equipment, marine fittings and for many different medical applications.
